The full details have been announced for Capcom Arcade Cabinet, which will allow you to transform your PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 into an 8-bit, 80’s arcade.
Starting on February 19 until early May, Capcom will be re-releasing a total of 15 arcade games from 1984-1988 on a staggered schedule, and the games can be purchased individually or as a package. Capcom also stated that two bonus games will be available for free to anyone that purchases all 15 game, whether individually or as a package.
The titles in Capcom Arcade Cabinet are going to be more than a simple re-release; players will have access to DIP switch functions, a music player, and the ability to capture and share screenshots or video. PlayStation 3 users will have the ability to upload videos onto Youtube, while Xbox 360 users will be able to upload screenshots onto Facebook.
