Cyan Worlds, owner of the Myst IP, has announced that they will be producing a TV show based on the series. When it first released in 1993, Myst was one of the first games to be on CD and to attempt photo-realistic graphics. It was a puzzle adventure game set on a island that contained portals to other worlds. Since then there have been numerous ports and sequels but none captured as much attention as the original.
Not many details have been announced so far but we do know that Cyan worlds has teamed up with Legendary Entertainment, the movie studio behind the Warcraft and Dead Rising films. Myst creators Rand and Robyn Miller will be creatively involved.

I remember playing this around ’95. I was a little gamer tyke but the graphics of Myst still stick out in my mind. Too bad I never got very far in the game. I’ll have to watch the show!
