In the last week of all format charts in the UK for 2012, Far Cry 3 has managed to take the top spot away from Call of Duty Black Ops II. An accomplishment by anyone’s standards.
Call of Duty Black Ops II has achieved a six week spree on the top of the charts and slipped to third place, being sniped down (see what we did there?) by Far Cry 3 (who achieved the top spot) and FIFA 13 who earned the runners-up position.
Courtesy of Joystiq, we have the top ten chart below, week ending December 29th:
- Far Cry 3
- FIFA 13
- Call of Duty Black Ops 2
- Hitman: Absolution
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted
- Just Dance 4
- Halo 4
- Assassin’s Creed 3
- Lego The Lord of the Rings
- Forza Horizon
Do any of these entries shock you at all? Keep in mind that Christmas/New Years obviously had a big impact with titles such as Lego: The Lord of the Rings being an obvious “Let’s spend your Christmas Money Timmy” option for many families.
