Publisher Crytek have announced that their next free to play title will be launching later this year on PC and consoles. Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age is a horror based third person shooter with an emphasis on co-operative play. Set in a fictional version of the late 1800s, teams of up to four people get to take on hordes of monsters and terrifying bosses drawn straight from popular myths and folklore. The game features a content generation system which randomises the environments and enemies each time you play. Hunt is the first title to be developed by Crytek USA, a new studio made up of employees from the now defunt Vigil Games.
Expect to see much more of Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age at E3 next week. In the mean time, check out the teaser trailer above.
