Deadly Premonition, the biggest cult hit of 2010, is getting a Directors Cut according to Rising Star Games. The publisher announced earlier today that they plan on publishing the Directors Cut sometime in early 2013 for the Playstation 3. The game will feature new scenarios, updated controls, HD graphics, and DLC.
I’m not entirely sure why they are choosing to release it solely for the PS3 and not make it available for Xbox 360 fans as well, but this is good news regardless. Possibly the best news I have heard all week so far. I am a huge fan of Deadly Premonition and can’t wait to see what the Directors Cut has in store.
