As we settle back into our old routines and wipe away a tear as we remember the Christmas before, it is important to note that developers and publishers spent the entire month of December with their fingers crossed, hoping they would be featured on Christmas lists across the world. Unsurprisingly, the best selling game was Call of Duty: Black Ops II although it is surprising to note that both Madden NFL 13 and NBA 2K13 also featured in the list.
