Blizzard has announced that Diablo III will be offline tomorrow in preparation for the release of patch 1.0.3.
The maintenance will begin Wednesday at 2am UK time and will last until roughly 12pm. Players will not be prompted to download the patch until it is live in their home region.
“If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed,” community manager Takralus explained on Battle.net.
“Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.3 is live until those regions have also patched.”
Patch 1.0.3 makes changes to the Inferno difficulty, rare item drops on bosses and bonus monster damage when playing in a group, among many other things
