Ubisoft’s big reveal at E3 2015 was Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. The game takes place in a massive open-world and can be played solo or with up to three friends in online co-op. You can watch the full five-minute reveal above.
The Ghost squad is tasked with destroying a deadly Bolivian drug cartel, Santa Blanca. Players are given complete freedom in how they tackle the story and missions. Do they prefer to use stealth or charge in all guns blazing? Both options are viable.
Gamers can also customise their soldiers with upgradeable skills and a huge choice of weapons. “With Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, we’re moving the Ghost Recon franchise in a new direction,” said Nouredine Abboud, a senior producer at Ubisoft. “Players in Ghost Recon Wildlands will never encounter the same situation twice, providing endless possibilities and creative freedom.”
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A release date has not been announced.
