It isn’t really a surprise that Dead Rising 4 seems poised to show up at E3 this year, but the game still has not been officially confirmed to be making an appearance. However, screenshots have been revealed by Wario64 on Twitter that pretty much confirm its existence and show the game in action. You can view the screenshots below:
The game was leaked a week ago and reported by ThisGenGaming who also released images that also helped confirm the game’s existence. It is a no-brainer that Capcom Vancouver will likely return to the series as Dead Rising 3 was a very well-received title that helped showcase the Xbox One. There is currently no word on whether the game will be exclusive to Xbox One and Windows 10 like before, but my money is on that being the case.
Rumors pretty much seem unanimous in thinking the game will be a remake of the first Dead Rising, following protagonist Frank West around Christmas time. The screenshots above definitely seem to confirm that Christmas is going to be the setting, and he town looks like one in Colorado, where the original game took place. However, it definitely looks like they will be taking Frank out of the mall and putting him in a more open-world environment.
Watch out for more news on Dead Rising 4 as E3 2016 continues all week!
