Escape From Naraka, a first-person survival horror platformer, has been announced by Headup. This title, developed by Xelo Games will be hitting PC Quarter 3 of 2021. That’s not too far off, nice to see some more survival horror heading our way, we all need something new once we’re done with Resident Evil Village. To add some more spice to this announcement the man who scored Pumpkin Jack, Yohan Jager, will be providing the music!
This trailer looks pretty sick, I can see some DOOM and Dishonored influence in there. I’m not a huge fan of the platforming elements because I generally fail at that, but otherwise this looks like a fun upcoming title!
In this game you are trying to save your loved one from Rangda the Leyak Queen. She has created a huge nightmare temple for you to navigate and survive. You have to best difficult platforming areas, traps, trials and hoards of enemies all trying to send you to hell.
There will be timed missions in this game, something I loath, but you can compete in the leaderboards. I think that’s pretty cool. Having bragging rights on an accomplishment on a game always brings in the ladies. If you want to keep track of this upcoming title you can add it to your Steam wish list and follow them on Twitter. Let us know in the comments if you plan on picking this unique survival horror title up.
