The stage recital Escha Chron that was first performed over the summer at the D-world vol. 0 event, is getting an anime adaptation!
Lerche, a Japanese studio who produced Assassination Classroom among several other works, is taking over the anime production. Seiji Mizushima, who is well-known for working on the Fullmetal Alchemist anime, will be supervising director of the adaptation. The character design is being taken care of by Satomi Watanabe and the screenplay is being written by Tatsuya Takahashi.
The story involves the two girls Escha and Chron who hail from a future post-apocalyptic world called Terminal. This future world is monochrome and sadly empty. Once these two friends walk through worlds to enter present day, the girls see scenery and hear music of the real world. Eventually the monochrome Terminal world slowly transitions into a luminous earth.
No date has been released for the premiere of Escha Chron. Stay tuned to BagoGames to find out more about Escha Chron as it is revealed!
