Delays are a constant source of frustration in the video game industry. Recently we’ve seen a whole host of major titles be pushed back to 2015. It comes as a nice surprise then that Bethesada is planning on releasing The Evil Within a week earlier than planned. The publisher announced at Quakecon that the the game will release in North America on October 14, not October 21. Hopefully this means that the European release will also be brought forward by a week to October 17.
The Evil Within is an upcoming survival horror title developed by Tango Gameworks. It will be the first game from this new studio which was founded by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. It has already seen a delay as it was supposed to come out in late August.
The Evil Within will be released for PS4, Ps3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
