Bethesda has announced that the biggest update for Fallout Shelter yet will be arriving sometime later this week, with Update 1.4 introducing several new features, such as:
- A new crafting ability, allowing players to finally turn junk into useful essentials for their Shelter,
- New rooms, which are part of the new crafting feature, as the Weapon and Armor crafting rooms will let players create new inventions to give them a leg up in the struggle to survive in the Wasteland,
- A new bonus card for Lunchboxes: Junk! Apparently this new feature is much more useful than it sounds, and Wasteland explorers might just pick up junk on their scouting trips;
- A Barbershop, which will let Overseers customize their Vault Dwellers,
- Also in Lunchboxes new Fallout 4 outfits and weapons will be available, or can even be crafted in the Shelter;
- New cats, dogs, and even parrots are going to be added, as well as new Pet bonuses,
- And now the time of day will be properly affected in the environment for a more authentic simulation.
Again, Update 1.4 will be made available sometime later in the week.
