Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan turn into really nice guys to tell you about The Nice Guys, which stars Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, who I presume are pretty nice guys. Directed by Shane Black, who is probably also a nice guy, the movie follows two not-so-nice guys acting as the nice guys in 1970’s Los Angeles (read Dylan’s review).
Before we get into talking about that though, Dylan unloads a ton of news including Arrested Development‘s new developments in how it will air, and the winners at Cannes this year. Dylan also talks about A Bigger Splash, the new film starring Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton, as well as Aziz Ansari’s Netflix show, Master of None. Meanwhile, Chris gets deep into the Blu-ray new releases from this week and then the two discuss the pilot episode of Preacher on AMC, starring Dominic Cooper. Tune in next week when Bryan Singer gets his turn in the hot seat with the new film X-Men: Apocalypse.
