To mark 25 years of Final Fantasy fun, Square Enix is releasing a Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box set packed with 13 games and more! So far it’s set for release in Japan on December 18 at a cost of ¥35,000. It can be purchased over on Square Enix’s e-store.
As mentioned on Siliconera, here are the games you’ll get:
Final Fantasy (PS1)
Final Fantasy II (PS1)
Final Fantasy III (PSP)
Final Fantasy IV (PS1)
Final Fantasy V (PS1)
Final Fantasy VI (PS1)
Final Fantasy VII International (PS1)
Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
Final Fantasy IX (PS1)
Final Fantasy X (PS2)
Final Fantasy XI Vana Del Collection (PS2)
Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)
Every game will come on its own disc or across multiple discs. By getting the collection, you’ll also get 2 music CDs, Crystal ArtWorks art, a code to obtain Mogu Mogu earrings in Final Fantasy XIV as well as a “Final Fantasy 25th anniversary visual and stand by Yoshitaka Amano”. Whew!
Whilst no release date has been mentioned for the rest of the globe, it doesn’t seem likely that Square Enix would keep this away from hungry fans outside of Japan!
Don’t forget to check out the trailer and images!
