SNK Playmore Corporation’s Garou: Mark of the Wolves will be re-released on Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America.
Originally, the Fatal Fury series was first released as an arcade game in Japan. Now SNK alongside with Code Mystics, Inc, brings the Fatal Fury classic, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, fighting game back with a fresh online multiplayer option. Both the PS Vita and PS4 editions of the game will have a Gallery Mode – players can unlock Mark of the Wolves and Fatal Fury art as they play Garou. Those who remember the original game’s soundtrack and miss the good ‘ol days can listen to a sample of it on the game’s main menu.
SNK received the answer of Mark of the Wolves by asking the PlayStation Nation which Neo Geo game they wanted available through PSN. Coincidentally, the Fatal Fury franchise is turning 25 this year!
As an extra surprise bonus for fans, SNK announced that the game will have cross-buy support! This means that players who own both a PS4 and a PS Vita will only need to buy one version of the game. They will also receive a digital copy of it for the other system. More information about Garou: Mark of the Wolves will be announced by SNK through the PlayStation Blog.
