Lucasfilm showed off a new behind-the-scenes trailer during their panel at Comic Con; it includes behind-the-scenes footage of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Awakens‘ development.
From the trailer, we get an inside look at the practical effects and some digital effects that the filmmakers have used for the film. We see green screens, but overall, it seems like the film could be a perfect blend between the two. The actors and the crew also tell us how they feel about working on such a beloved series of films. The Force was with us today as we got some footage of Carrie Fisher in the role of Leia, and Harrison Ford as Han Solo sitting once more (it seems like) in the Millennium Falcon alongside Rey, played by Daisy Ridley. These two snippets and a lot more were included in this trailer.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is scheduled to release in theaters on December 18th 2015.
