Batman: Arkham Knight will see DC Comics’ Dark Knight against the very worst of his rogues gallery minus one costumed clown. If one lunatic in a gas mask can be believed, though, Batman’s already lost.
In the latest trailer to debut from developer Rocksteady Studios, the Arkham Knight and his forces are gaining traction all across Gotham City and the Scarecrow’s fear toxins are mere hours away from being unleashed. Caught in between them is Batman – Gotham’s last hope and a false one according to his heavily armed critics.
The trailer highlights the usual suspects we’ve come to see in the series, including Troy Baker’s Two-Face and Nolan North’s Penguin working their corners of the ruined city streets. We also get to see our first look at Arkham Knight‘s Poison Ivy, sans the moldy green skin but certainly not the tight red top.
Batman: Arkham Knight releases this June 2nd for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC – the very first Batman game to be rated “M for Mature” according to recent reports and not one that Rocksteady says it’s made any compromises for.
