Gravity Rush was arguably one of the Playstation Vita’s stand-out games back in good ‘ole 2012. Three years later, what fans assumed to be a series in the making has grown mighty quiet until today. According to Sony’s pre-TGS Playstation conference, the game’s not only confirmed to have a sequel, but Kat’s first adventure is coming to Playstation 4 this year.
Brought to you by BluePoint Games, you’ll be sending Kat and Dusty the cat soaring through Hekseville via your PS4’s touchpad all in 1080p graphics with some reported performance improvements.
To top it off, all three of Gravity Rush’s original DLC packs — The Maid Pack, The Spy Packs, and The Military Pack — will be included with its PS4 release. North Americans can expect to play Gravity Rush Remastered on PS4 this coming Feb. 9th, 2016.
Meanwhile, Gravity Rush 2 (or Gravity Daze 2 internationally) will be skipping Vita entirely and is hitting PS4 next year in Japan. You can see a trailer for it in the video below as revealed by Sony.
The Tokyo Gameshow starts this Friday, Sep. 17th and runs through Sunday, Sep. 20th. Expect more news out of the convention as it happens and stick around for more of gaming news here at BagoGames.
