Guillermo Del Toro’s inSANE was first revealed at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, and was set to be developed by Volition and published by THQ. However, earlier this year THQ announced that they were dropping the game from their line-up. Ever since then news has been quiet regarding the project… until now.
While at NYCC, Del Toro spoke to Kotaku about inSANE. “Now we are talking to developers, I’m not giving up,” Del Toro told Kotaku.
Luckily for Del Toro he retained the rights to his IP after THQ dropped it earlier this year. When asked if he had a dream developer in mind for his horror trilogy, Del Toro was quick to throw out Valve’s name, expressing how much he admired their work.
That is all the news that is available right now, but whenever this game gets a new developer we will have the details for you.
