The creator of Counter-Strike Minh Gooseman Le, may have revealed a tiny secret about certain projects that Valve might be working on. Projects like Half-Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3.
“I don’t think I can talk about that, to be honest, but I think it’s kind of public knowledge, that people know that it is being worked on,” Le said of the long-fabled Half-Life 3, speaking on podcast goRGNtv. “I guess I could say that I did see something that looked kinda like in the Half-Life universe. And I mean it wouldn’t surprise anyone if I said they’re doing it, they’re working on it, yeah. So to go on a limb I’d say I did see some concept art for Half-Life 3.” – Minh Gooseman Le
Although it wouldn’t be that big of a surprise if this information was true, Valve has yet to even acknowledge the existence of Half-Life 3 or Left 4 Dead 3.
Le also said that he was “really excited” about Left 4 Dead 3 in particular. He cited that he saw it and that “it looks great.”
The last entry in the Left 4 Dead series was in 2009, but fans have been restless and thirsty for any bit of news regarding Half-Life 3. The last entry in the Half-Life series was in 2007.
