NBC has announced an official premiere date for the third season of the critically acclaimed Hannibal.
According to the Hannibal Facebook page and Twitter account, the first episode of season three will air on June 4th, 2015. The third season will consist of 13 episodes, which follows the same format as the show’s first two seasons.
Last month, the first trailer (see above) for the eagerly awaited Hannibal season three was revealed, as it featured FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) recollecting on the events of season two and, more importantly, initiates a cat-and-mouse chase with Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen).

Bryan Fuller, developer and writer of Hannibal, confirmed last year that Gillian Anderson would be a series regular in the third season, with the former X-Files star reprising her role as Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier.
Starring Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy and Gillian Anderson, NBC’s Hannibal season three will begin on June 4th at 10/9c on NBC.
