Uk gaming magazine Edge has revealed in it’s September issue that that the hotly anticipated indie title No Man’s Sky will be released for the PC. Edge staff took a trip to visit the developer behind No Man’s Sky, Hello Games. Having been shown off extensively at this year’s E3, we already knew that the game would be releasing for the PS4. Now we know that there will be a PC version, but that it will come sometime after the game’s initial launch on Sony’s newest console.
In an interview with Edge, Hello Games’ managing director Sean Murray said that ‘we’ve always had PC in mind’. Murray went to explain that his team is currently focusing on the PS4 version of the game in order to maximise its procedural generation algorithms. ”Unlike most games, the actual hardware really affects what we can do in terms of the richness of the worlds and things like that,” he said.
No Man’s Sky from Hello Games will launch in 2015.
