According to Chinese social network Weibo, and reported by PhoneArena, HTC’s superphone, the HTC One Max, could see the light of day in a matter of weeks, specifically revealing an October 15 release date for the 5.9-inch behemoth.
China’s TENNA, responsible for certifying these kind of devices in China, recently posted photos of the HTC One Max. This gives the assumption that the phone has received regulatory approval in China, making the October 15 release date just a tad more valid.
According to reported specs, the HTC One Max will have a 5.9-inch 1080p HD display, powered by 2GB of RAM and a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064. The phone will offer 16GB of onboard storage and will feature an UltraPixel camera that debuted on the original HTC One. Finally, it could feature a fingerprint scanner.
@evleaks, a known leaker, reported that the phone will land on Sprint when it makes its US debut.
