Last week, a lockscreen exploit for iOS 7 was discovered, an exploit that would allow users to access a phone’s photos, e-mail, and attached social networking accounts. In a statement to AllThingsD, Apple said that it was working on a fix, and today, the company delivered.
Apple pushed out the update in the form of iOS 7.0.2, which “fixes bugs that could allow someone to bypass the Lock screen passcode.” Succinct and to the point. In addition, for the Greek among you who were revolted to discover that there was no Greek keyboard option in iOS 7, Apple added that, too.
The download is roughly 20 MB in size, so it’s a fun-sized update. iOS 7.0.2 is available for download right now.
