Jeff Rubenstein (seen on the left in the picture above), who served as Senior Social Media Manager at PlayStation (specifically SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America)) has officially left the company. Having been with PlayStation for 5 years, his role included the development of PlayStation.Blog to bring gamers all the latest happenings going on with Sony and PlayStation titles.
In his last blog post to fans, he wrote, “After five years, 5,995 blog posts, and 10,888 Tweets, today is my final day at PlayStation. We’ve accomplished a lot together: we’ve built PlayStation.Blog into one of the most influential blogs in the world, amassed the largest Twitter following in the industry and the 8th most fans in the world on Facebook (watch out McDonalds!). I mention these stats not to brag, but because I continue to be amazed at the enduring strength of the PlayStation brand and its fervent fans, whom I’ve been lucky to serve as Social Media Dudebro since 2007”.
He didn’t state what his next endeavor would be but nevertheless, we wish him all the best!

[…] Jeff Rubenstein Leaving SCEA […]
Well, I hope that if you paid attention to people asking to have exploits researched that this was a good thing. If your one of those that helped this company 'pretend' nothing was going on (like the Lv0 hack/exploit endangering user account sescurity) then I hope you got fired.
I dont want to sound rude, but SCEA made an agreement with us and expect us to uphold our ends of the Terms Of Service, yet they fail to understand their portion of this same agreement. As of now, SCEA is HUGELY failing its sonumers. Nolan Hass (SCEA Director Of Consumer Affairs) should defintly be fired, as this is like week 3 of the private Lv0 keys being available to the public and CONSUMER Services still has no clue what one is talking about when we call to ask how they can garuntee our safety with this new exploit. The consumer SHOULD never have to educate a deprtament within an organization with material that is avialbele on the internet with two keywords 'PS3' & 'hack'.
If I were to try and act like this, Id be laughed off the planet and out of existance. Maybe Ill have to loose thousands of dollars in DLC to see Sony get the lesson that is due.
…they cant stop the signal…
Man that's shock to the system is all I'l say. Godspeed Jeff.
