Killer Instinct Season 3 is on its way to PC and Xbox One in March 2016, but currently the game is making waves at the Killer Instinct World Cup. One of the biggest announcements of the day comes in the form of a teaser trailer released by the Killer Instinct YouTube channel that has a lot of Halo going on but no semblance of the fighting franchise. In fact, the only way it is evident that Halo is making its way to Killer Instinct and not vice-versa is that this was revealed at the Killer Instinct World Cup, on their YouTube channel, and ends with the logo for Killer Instinct.
Though not 100% confirmed, it seems fairly obvious that the character Iron Galaxy Studios is teasing is Arbiter from the Halo franchise. The energy sword and what little is seen of the character’s design hint heavily at his appearance. This will mean that Arbiter will join the already confirmed Tusk, Kim Wu, and Rash from Battletoads. In fact, Kim Wu received a gameplay trailer today, which can be found below.
Arbiter would join Rash as two guest characters for Season 3. In addition to these characters, Iron Galaxy announced character rebalances for season 1 and 2 characters, along with many other tweaks. If you’re interested in the full list, you can find it here. Killer Instinct Season 3 will be making an appearance at Evo 2016 this year, alongside Mortal Kombat X and the upcoming Street Fighter V.
