LittleBigPlanet 2 will be getting some new content later this month in the form of the Cross-Controller Pack. This pack, which makes the PS Vita the controller and second screen, will see Sackboy going on a new adventure with a group of Space Pirates in an attempt to find some valuable treasure; as pirates tend to do. The Vita’s front and rear touch screens will be required to make your way through some of the obstacles in this new content and will also make LBP2 the first game to implement Cross-Controller support.
Along with this new type of controller support and new content to play through, the franchise’s signature level making tools will get some new additions that will allow players to make their own Cross-Controller levels for all to play. It should go without saying that those interested in the Cross-Controller Pack will need a PS3, Vita and a copy of LBP2.
The LittleBigPlanet 2: Cross-Controller Pack is set to release on December 18th for $4.99.
