Fellow Star Wars geeks rejoice! While most of LucasArts recent Star Wars titles have been very Jedi-centric, their new entry Star Wars: 1313 promises to put players in the shoes of a bounty hunter, and it doesn’t hurt that game is beautiful looking, from what we’ve seen.
Though details are limited, we know that the game’s name is derived from “Level 1313” an underground criminal organization from the planet Coruscant. You’ll be stepping into the boots of one of these criminals, playing from a third-person perspective. Additionally, the game is boasting some high-level motion capture and animation technology similar to what was seen in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. LucasFilm has brought aboard ILM, the company behind the special effects in the summer blockbuster Battleship, to help give 1313 the utmost realism and robustness.
LucasFilm and ILM are going for a level of realism surpassing any previous Star Wars games
