Three new films have secured the top three slots. Fox’s The Maze Runner, based on the popular book, came out on top with a strong $32,500,000 estimated weekend gross. That’s an impressive number for the fantasy flick given the $34 million budget and an even stronger foreign gross. Following behind was the Liam Neeson drama A Walk Among the Tombstones with $13,126,000 and the Jason Bateman starring comedy This Where I Leave You with $11,860,000. Considering all three had very low budgets, it’s a mildly successful weekend. Kevin Smith’s new animal horror Tusk wasn’t so lucky debuting in 900 theaters and not being able to crack past a million. The rest of the films all had logical drops with no surprises. Check out the full top 10 below.
