Metal Gear Online has run into some issues recently, specifically with its PC version. Despite some hiccups, MGO has made its way onto PC, along with the already released versions on PS4 and Xbox One. The multiplayer companion to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will now also receive some new downloadable content that features the major heroine of the game: Quiet. Releasing in March 2016, the DLC was announced via the Metal Gear Online Twitter account, along with a slew of other additions.
Along with the addition of the controversial Quiet character, MGO will be receiving some more maps including Rust Palace, Coral Complex (a Mother Base derivative), and Azure Mountain. The three maps are set in different locales that have been visited in The Phantom Pain. New Appeal Actions were also announced alongside the maps and Quiet and will feature dance appeals, basic appeals, battle appeals and hero appeals. All of the appeals seem to remain cosmetic.

According to Reddit, 4Gamer has some news regarding the next update for MGO, as well. The normal balance tweaks are happening, but there will also allegedly be a spectator mode, new combat knife, a “Wormhole Fulton”, and the RPG is being weakened so as to avoid one-hit kills. The other note is the inclusion of 20 more songs for the game, as well as the ability to adjust the volume of the music.
More information regarding the DLC and update will be released on Monday. Metal Gear Online is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
