After years of wanting and wishing, Metal Gear Solid 4 fans are finally having their prayers answered. The PlayStation smash hit is receiving a much awaited patch to enable the support of trophies in the game. Better late than never.
Since it was released back in June 2008, fans have been asking on Kojima forums for a patch to enable trophy support in the game. People wanted a reason to dive back into the world of MGS in chase of a nice shiny platinum trophy to show their hard work and love towards the game.
News of this story broke in an interview in an issue of Famitsu magazine. Also mentioned was an event on August 30th for the 25th anniversary in Tokyo at Konami’s main offices.
No mention on total number of trophies or their requirements yet, but stay tuned for more news on this story over the next coming weeks as we get even closer to the 30th of August and the 25th anniversary of Metal Gear Solid.
