It appears that GTA 5 will allow gamers to make microtransactions to improve their experience in the online world by using real-world currency for in-game currency.
The story emerges members of Reddit looked through the webpage data for the game’s online store and came in four varieties:
- Red Shark Cash Card (gives $100,000 of in-game money)
- Tiger Shark Cash Card (gives $200,000 of in-game money)
- The Bull Shark Cash Card (gives $500,000 of in-game money)
- The Great White Shark Cash Card (gives $1,250,000 of in-game money)
Each items description reads:
“Cash is king in this town. Solve your money problems and help get what you want across Los Santos and Blaine County with the purchase of cash packs for Grand Theft Auto Online. All purchased cash is automatically deposited into your character’s bank account. Spend wisely, cash therapy is fleeting.”
