Minecraft for the PS Vita will be available in Europe from Oct 15. 4J Studios, who is handling the port of the title released the news tidbit via their Twitter page:

They also stated however, that there’s no official confirmation on when the game will be released in the US.

Even though Minecraft developer, Mojang, is being acquired by Microsoft, Minecraft will still continue to be available on other platforms.
