Mojang have revealed some really interesting figures regarding copies of Minecraft XBLA and Minecraft PC. It turns out, after a quick evaluation of said figures, that Minecraft XBLA sold more than the PC edition!
According to Mojang the following figures for various versions of Minecraft are as follows:
- Minecraft: Pocket Edition Mobile – 5,899,727 copies
- Minecraft XBLA – 5,002,370 copies
- Minecraft PC – 4,177,843 copies
That equates to a total of 15,079,940 copies sold throughout 2012… amazing to say the least.
With updates coming frequently on all versions, it has never been a better time to jump on the hype-wagon and choose your favorite platform to play the game from.
