We all love Minecraft. Whether you have played it or not, it’s the simplistic art style and basic (but with ridiculous depth after all) game play that has gripped the planet which keeps players coming back for more in turn making Mojang more and more money.
In an interview with iGamer however, Mojang developer Jens Bergensten revealed that a PS3 version may be in the works when the Microsoft exclusivity deal expires. Although the end date of this deal is unknown to those outside of Mojang and Microsoft the game would had been on market for an entire year (shipping over five million copies in this period) in May.
No concrete confirmation was confirmed either, as Jens Bergensten said: “When it runs out, we’ll consider Minecraft for PlayStation”. As we all know, “consider” doesn’t mean “will”.
