Naughty Dog’s game The Last Of Us has a lot of eyes on it since the gameplay trailer debuted at Sony’s E3 press conference this year. No one really expected it to have a multiplayer aspect in the game, but talking with Gaming Examiner, creative director Neil Druckmann mentioned that multiplayer will be implemented in The Last Of Us.
To quote Neil Druckmann:
“We are supporting multiplayer with The Last of Us. We’re not ready to talk about the details of how multiplayer will be implemented, however we can say that it is not co-op within the main campaign.”
So if you were hoping for the possiblity of a campaign Co-Op, then that has been put to rest in the said quote from the creative director. This is a bummer since watching Ellie smash that guys face in with that brick got the whole E3 audiance to cheer. Naughty Dog proved everyone wrong when they implemented multiplayer into there Uncharted game so it’s safe to say they can be trusted with coming up with some great idea’s for this title.
