Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming expansion to Neverwinter, entitled Underdark. The expansion, to be released for PC on November 17th, is penned by New York Times Bestselling Author R.A. Salvatore, best known for writing the DemonWars Saga and creating the famous Dungeons and Dragons character Drizzt Do’Urden in his Forgotten Realms novels.
Neverwinter, a free-to-play MMORPG, has players explore the famous city of Neverwinter, which is heavily featured in the Dungeons and Dragons Forgotten Realms campaign. Underdark expands on core gameplay to include a revamp of the Tarmalune Trade Bar Store, new gear, additional end-game skirmishes, and a 10-player battle with Demogorgon, master of the spiraling depths. Underdark also features the storyline of The Dwarven King, written by Salvatore, a story which takes the player on a journey to retrieve the helm of Bruenor Battlehammer.
Neverwinter is currently available on both PC and digitally on Xbox One with an Xbox Live Gold membership. Neverwinter: Underdark will be available for PC on November 17th and on Xbox One in 2016.
