Along with the new Austin 3:13 video, 2K Games has also released new details about the Universe mode in the upcoming WWE 2K16.
A new match generation system will be in place, ensuring that Universe mode starts with different match ups for every player. Superstars, or wrestlers if you will, can now also be used on multiple shows at once, while more variety and quality will be present in WWE 2K16’s storylines than in WWE 2K15.
Along with these changes comes a new personality mechanic that strives to make wrestlers feel more unique. They can behave in different ways depending on their personality alignments, as well as a status effect mechanic that can have positive or negative effects on your wrestlers. Status effects can include injuries and attribute boosts. More in-depth details about the additions to Universe mode can be found here.
WWE 2K16 will be released October 27th in North America, the 29th in Australia, and 30th in Europe.
