Capcom has revealed that a brand new character called Necalli will be making his début in Street Fighter V. The announcement was made at the Evolution Championship Series, a fighting game tournament which took place at the weekend.
The reveal video, which you can watch above, shows Necalli pounding Ken into the ground with his fists. It also shows Necalli’s V-Trigger move which turns his hair into a glowing, red mane.
Necalli joins Street Fighter mainstays including Ken, Cammy and M Bison. Street Fighter V will have 16 characters available at launch and 4 of them will be newcomers.
Capcom recently revealed that all of the game’s content will be available on one disc. Last generation, players had to buy Ultra Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV to get extra characters and balance tweaks.
Instead, all content will be available for free if players are willing to grind enough. The DLC characters can be bought with real world money or with the game’s in-game currency, Fight Money.
Street Fighter V will launch in March 2016 for PC and PlayStation 4.
