Who would have thought Jurassic Park: The Game would be making it’s way to store shelves? Well, not so fast. It turns out the game has a lot of kinks in it still and developer Telltale Games has pulled the plug on an early release for the PC version of the game. They have decided instead to release the game across all major platforms at the same time later this fall.
The developer hopes the additional time will allow them to tweak the game more, maybe add more elements to the gameplay and storyline, and hopefully make the finished product better.
Jurassic Park: The Game for PC was suppose to be released this month. The news that it’s now kaput, at least until later this fall, could have caused a major PR problem for the company as many gamers already pre-ordered the game before the news hit. But thankfully Telltale Games has decided to refund all orders and has even thrown in a free game for good measure.
For all you early birds who couldn’t wait to get your hands on the game; the developer says the refunds should be coming out in the next couple of days. Stay tuned for anymore news on the impending release of Jurassic Park: The Game. It should be a real flash from the past.
