Nintendo dropped a lot of amazing news stories yesterday during their Nintendo Direct and an upgraded Ninja Gaiden Trilogy was part of that news. Fortunately for owners of other consoles or members of the PC Master Race, they will also rejoice in this news.
June 10 2021 will mark the day when Ryu Hayabusa graces our systems once again, only this time complete with all the prior DLC. This means that players who missed out on Ryu’s first outing on the original Xbox, Xbox 360 and PS3 can now do so with the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Windows PC.
When you pick up this trilogy you will getting three difficult games, these were our Dark Souls games before From Software took over the difficulty curve. You’ll get to play Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge.
I remember how amazed I was when the Xbox version came out many moons ago. The game controlled well, looked amazing on my CRT and was challenging to the point of rage quitting. To this day I’ve never beaten the first one, I look forward to attempting to completing Ryu Hayabusa’s story this go around. My toughest decision will be deciding what platform to purchase it on, probably the one with the most durable controller.
