Duncan Orrell-Jones has been hired by Nintendo of America, as the gaming giant’s new Senior Vice President of Network Business. He’ll begin his role on the 1st of July and will be responsible for digital strategies for the 3DS and Wii U across America. He’ll be working for and reporting to Reggie Fils-Aime, NoA’s President.
Fils-Aime stated “Duncan Orrell-Jones brings knowledge and hands-on experience to Nintendo that will help us develop and implement long-term digital initiatives for our systems.
“By creating this new position we’re demonstrating our commitment to the expansion of our online business, and Duncan is the perfect person for the job.”
Orrell-Jones moves from Disney, where he served as Senior Vice President for Disney’s Interactive Media division since 1993.
