Nintendo is due to reveal its latest financial standings today and many believe it isn’t going to look all bright and cheery for the company despite strong hardware and software sales of their Nintendo 3DS handheld.
Bloomberg has been checking its own data and predicts the company will reveal that it has made a loss of 18.7 billion Yen (which translate as just under $190 million) as well as the company announcing that the Wii U has only shipped 3.5 million Wii U units worldwide.
Will this trigger a different approach to marketing the Wii U console or will Nintendo be more focused on releasing popular franchises onto their failing home console?
