As if we didn’t have enough ways to already watch TV on our many devices, Nintendo has now given us another way with their newly announced Nintendo TVii service.
Nintendo TVii is said to have been designed for people to ‘Find, Watch & Engage’ their favorite TV Shows, Movies and Sports. The gamepad will work like a second screen that can give you additional details about what you’re watching, be used to navigate through menus to select what video you want to watch or be used like a master remote control. You can also use the gamepad to control your DVR.
Personalizing the experience is another part of Nintendo TVii as the Miis are used to show who is using the service at the time and mark off favorites. Social interaction, such as Twitter, chatting with friends, and taking part in polls is also encouraged.
Popular services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video and Tivo will all be supported, so you’ll always have some method of watching what you want. All in one place.
Nintendo TVii comes with every Wii U System, for free, so now you have no excuse to not use it if you buy a Wii U.
