Okami was Clover Studios’ 2006 masterpiece for the PS2 (and, later on Wii). A one-of-a-kind experience that, very sadly, bombed horrendously upon release. TWICE. Well, hopefully third time’s the charm as Capcom are bringing the cult classic to the PSN as another current gen HD remake.
This version will see the game finally released in 1080p HD (and if you’ve played the game at all, you’ll understand why I’m salivating in the same way I do when I see Mary Elizabeth Winstead), feature full trophy support and has the option for Move support. So, essentially, it’s a high def version of the Wii version of the game. I can dig that! And, as if Capcom genuinely listened to your complaints about Resident Evil 4 HD, this port is being handled by both Capcom and HexaDrive, the people responsible for the HD remake of Rez.
Okami HD will hit the PSN on October 30th for North America, October 31st for Europe and November 1st for Japan. Now, please buy the game this time. Please?
