The once Japan exclusive Pokemon Rumble U game for the Nintendo Wii U will be making its way to both European and North American eShops as The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have just confirmed that the game will be landing on digital store shelves this August 15th (Europe) and August 29th (North America) for $17.99.
The main appeal of the game however are the real-life figures which currently feature eighteen different Pokemon including the likes of Pikachu, Lucario, Victini, Eevee and more which can be scanned into the game using the NFC-compatible Wii U GamePad. In Japan, these figures could be purchased and then used within the game to unlock these characters. Whilst Nintendo of Europe are keeping quiet on the issue, North America have confirmed that the figures will be available at GameStop stores in “concealed capsules” for $3.99 each, meaning if you want all eighteen you’ll be paying a total of $89.81 for the game and all physical DLC.
