Remember Overstrike, the EA title mentioned at last year’s E3 event (it’s ok if you need a second to think about it, you’re probably not the only one)? It’s still being worked upon as EA’s Frank Gibeau explained to CVG. He commented that Insomniac, the team behind Overstrike‘s development, is being especially cautious of the game’s progress and stated “We’re very excited about Overstrike. It’s a new IP and we want to make it the right game, so they’re taking some extra time to nail the gameplay and the quality. It felt like we would stand out better later in the summer once we’ve hit some key milestones and we’re able to show off more.”
Overstrike, a multiplayer shooter title, was originally shown off during E3 2011 but has been under wraps until now.
