Sony have launched a new initiative for UK gamers who now have yet another method of payment to choose when purchasing digital products from the PlayStation Store on PSN.
Sony has allowed gamers to pay in numerous ways in order to get their gaming hands on digital content such as credit card, prepaid cards and even using your PayPal account but now UK gamers can use their mobile phone to pay for content.
When paying for content you will be prompted to enter your mobile phone number which will then receive a text from Sony asking you to reply with the letter “Y” in order to make your purchase. The price of the content you want to download will then be added to your next phone bill or taken away from your pay as you go balance.
Will you be making use of this new payment option?
