Publisher Konami has revealed new information regarding the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, including the licensed rosters in the title, a day-one update ready for PES 2015 and the official launch trailer.
According to a blog post by Konami, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, the South American Copa Libertadores and the Asia Champions League competitions are all part of the licences that the publisher has acquired for PES 2015, while confirming that this year’s instalment will also feature the inclusion of teams in the second division from Italy, France, England and Spain for the first time in the franchise.
Konami also confirmed that well-known football teams from around the world have been licensed in the title, including Bayern Munich (who have their German attacking midfielder Mario Götze as the cover star of PES 2015), F.C. Porto, Manchester United, S.L. Benfica and Sporting CP.
PES 2015’s day-one patch adds 93 football kits to the title, newly licenced teams (AC Sparta Prague, FK Partizan, Maccabi Tel Aviv, etc.) and the addition of six teams from the Brazilian league — Santos, Sport Club Internacional, Vasco da Gama, Criciúma, Vitória and Chapecoense — with all of the footballers’ actual names.
PES 2015, however, will receive another update in December, with Brazilian side Flamengo receiving all of the players’ real-life names and “include yet more teams in other leagues and bolster the stadia roster for the current generation of gaming systems.”
Running on Kojima Productions’ Fox Engine, PES 2015 is scheduled for release worldwide on November 13th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
